BC Designs Original Copper Boat Bath | Hand-Crafted Freestanding Bath
A Living Work of Art for the Discerning Bathroom
Crafted using the same time-honoured techniques passed down through generations of master coppersmiths, the BC Designs Original Copper Boat Bath is far more than a bathing vessel — it is a statement piece. Each bath is individually hand-formed, resulting in the gentle undulations and subtle tonal variations in the copper finish that make every single piece entirely unique to its owner.
Copper's exceptional thermal properties mean your bath water stays warmer for longer than cast iron alternatives, and even after draining, the bath retains a gentle warmth to the touch — a small but deeply luxurious detail that elevates the entire bathing ritual.
The Finish
The copper/nickel finish is available in two options to suit your aesthetic:
- Waxed — a rich, lustrous sheen that deepens over time
- Lacquered — a refined, slightly matte appearance for a more contemporary look
Please specify your preferred finish at the time of ordering. To preserve the beauty of the waxed finish, we recommend regular maintenance every few weeks using Renaissance Wax and Autosol Metal Polisher.
Overflow & Waste
In keeping with its artisan heritage, this bath does not include a pre-fitted overflow. Slotted and unslotted options are available, and all overflow holes must be drilled on site by your installer. Waste is not included.
Important: Do not cut into the plinth — doing so will void the manufacturer's guarantee.
