  Freestanding Baths

Whilst many people assume that freestanding baths only suit a traditional bathroom interior, we source and supply an excellent collection of modern and contemporary freestanding baths.

  Single Ended Baths

  Single Ended Baths have long been one of the most popular ranges here at Designer Bathroom Store and it’s easy to see why – most homes and even hotels feature this type of bath. Put simply, this style of bath has the taps and the waste at one end of the bath. The end of the bath which features the taps is usually straight, whilst the other end is curved for the user to lay down on. Single Ended Baths are ideal for one person using the bath at a time.

  Double Ended Baths

  Much in the same way that a Single Ended Bath is designed for use by one person, a double ended bath has been designed so it can be used by two people. So if you enjoy a romantic bath on an evening with a loved one, this style of bath is right for you.

  Typically, these baths have their taps and wastes placed in the middle of the unit and two sloped ends, allowing two people to enjoy a relaxing bath in absolute comfort. Because of the position of the taps, these baths are also incredibly popular with tall people – who find it irritating when stretching out in a single ended bath, as their feet hits the taps.

  Corner Baths

  A Corner Bath represents an excellent choice for any bathroom. Not only do they provide a relaxing and spacious bathing environment – they also save space in a bathroom. The main advantage of Corner Baths is that they allow you a large bath, in a stylish – space saving design.

  Corner Baths are available in both right handed, and left handed options – so they can suit any bathroom layout. These baths often also come with extra features – such as a raised seats, so they are also really useful for those with reduced mobility, almost serving as a shower seat.

  Shower Baths

  Shower Baths provide an excellent solutions for small and medium sized bathrooms. Whilst in many bathrooms a shower is fitted over standard bath, the shower bath is designed to provide an excellent showering space, and are usually either L or P shaped to provide a larger showering area.

  The P shaped bath has a curved section at the showering end, and when matched with a curved shower screen provides a stylish, contemporary appearance. The Kartell Adapt P shaped shower bath is one of our best sellers, and can be specified in either right or left handed designs. Alternatively, the L shaped Shower Bath features straight sides, for a sleek and contemporary look. These L shaped baths look excellent with a P shaped shower screen. The most popular of the L shaped baths is the very aptly named Tetris Shower Bath from Kartell, which again can be chosen in left handed or right handed fittings.

  Whilst some of the Baths we supply do not need bath panels, many do. Don’t think that’s a bad thing either – bath panels allow you to customise and style your bath around your exact preferences, and the range we offer, which have all been handpicked from the leading bathroom suppliers allow you to create a bath which complements your bathroom interior.

  There’s everything from wood, stone effect and plastic bath panels for both the sides and ends of your bath, so you can spend as little or as much as you like. Many of our customers just seeking simple functionality choose a plastic bath panel, whilst others choose a painted wooden bath panel for an added touch of luxury.

  Bath Screens not only serve the importance purpose of keeping the water in the bath – they also add a stylish and functional touch to bathrooms large and small. Available in a wide range of shapes and sizes – they are available in both framed and frameless styles to help you create the exact look you want. Bath Screens are also available in a number of straight and curved designs.

  Many of these bath screens also feature rails for added convenience. Bath screens which feature rails are typically thicker, but all thicknesses of glass achieve the same effect.
